Creating Custom Emojis

How to create custom emojis for Google Chat

Note that custom emojis can only be used in spaces that are not accessible by external members.

1. Open Chat: Go to Google Chat or Gmail on your computer.
2. Emoji Menu: In any chat, click the Add emoji button at the bottom right.
3. Create: Click on “Create” on the right side, beside the search bar.
4. Upload & Name: Click Upload image to choose your file, then give it a name.
5. Save: Click Save to make it available for use.
