Creating an Ad for the Community ad platform

General Workflow

Scenarios

Someone wants to post an ad on our site!

  • We should have a means for people to submit required data to post an ad on the site
  • Fields to be included:
  • Name
  • Ad title
  • Ad body
  • Ad pictures (multiple)
  • Links?
  • We should notify them when we receive the ad and let them know we are reviewing it and that they will receive a response when when we approve, disapprove or respond

We want to approve an ad that someone has submitted to us

  • We receive an ad post request
  • Need an email to designate OR have it posted to a designated Google Chat channel
  • We need docs to explain how to moderate an ad and
  • Determine approval status
  • Respond to the poster (provide a template, perhaps?)

Questions/Todos

  • Picking a google chat channel and email to use as the central means of communicating with ad posters
  • How to allow posters to manage their own ad (can they create, update, delete?)
  • Document how to create an ad for the community
  • Doc how to moderate an ad / respond to a poster
